About OpenBench
OpenBench is a small, growing set of free, open-source utilities for test and automation engineers — built by someone who uses tools like these professionally, on a real bench, every week.
Commercial tools in this space work fine, but they're closed-source and licensed per seat, which is real friction for something you might use for twenty minutes before a site visit. OpenBench tools are free to download, free to audit, and released under the MIT license.
The project is funded by donations and, eventually, an optional paid tier for teams that need remote or cloud features the free, local-only tools don't cover. The core tools themselves stay free — that's not changing.
OpenBench is currently a side project, built in spare hours around a full-time role in test, measurement, and automation.
